The forum was held at the York Gardens Library & Community Centre, York Road, SW11 2UG

Tarbiyaat Forum started with Tilawat by Bashir Ahmad Nasir sahib and translation by Safeer Ahmad Nasir.

Sadar Jama’at, Inamullah Khan, welcomed Secretary Tarbiyyat and the participants and gave a very short introduction to the event. This was followed by some important announcements.
After the introduction, Nisar Orchard sahib gave a very interesting and interactive PowerPoint presentation, where many techniques were used to ensure audience participation, especially the Atfal took a very keen interest.
The presentation and the interactive session lasted about an hour and an half and also included opportunities for the participants to ask Secretary Tarbiyyat any questions in an open and friendly environment.  Orchard sahib emphasised the importance of maintaining a close relationship with Allah and gave many examples such as remembering Huzur’s Friday Sermons.
He also emphasised the importance to be in touch with local Jama’at by knowing the name of our Sadr Jama’at and local Amila members and so on.
He also made everyone realise that we don’t have unlimited life time and not having time for Allah, as we spent most of our time doing worldy things such as having a job or going college and so on.
