Oxford Tarbiyyat Day Report – Date 17th January 2016

On the 17th January 2016 the Oxford Jammat held it’s second Tarbiyyat Day. The event was attended by both men and women and was well attended with over 35 people attending. The day started at 4.30pm with Maghrib prayers which was lead by the local marabi of Oxford. After prayers there was the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Zubair Ahmed sahib.

There was then a very interesting, informative and enjoyable power point presentation by Nisar Orchard sahib. The presentation included the importance of listening to Hazoor’s khutba’s and also mentioned the sermon delivered during the inauguration of Baitul Futuh mosque and Huzoor mentioning the importance of populating mosques. The importance of prayers and remembrance of Allah and the importance of marriage was also included in the presentation. The presentation was very interesting and interactive. The day finished with silent prayers
Refreshment’s were served after silent prayers and the day completed with Isha prayers
